Sup nerds! I'm Viktor Complex, a drag king based in Ireland
He/They in drag | They/Them outta drag
(Sé/Síad as Gaeilge if you're feeling it)
I'm trans & disabled, and often rely on mobility aids - and they feature a lot in my performance.
I do a lot of goofy lip syncs, attempt some stand up, and bring lotsa political inspo into my drag acts. That, and crossdressing as a 2000s emo boii of course.
You'll mostly find me on the Picture App or the Short Video App, but I do like to lurk here upon occasion too ⚡ I perform all across the country, but create lotsa online content too when spoons allow.

A think that is abundantly clear each time there's election discourse is that not only do liberals believe voting is the only political action one can make (outside of consumption of course they really believe the brands they choose to consume have any kind of affect on political realities) they also have to believe, for their argument to make sense, to believe that every "sane, rational person" would believe the same: That the only time someone is allowed to express an opinion on politics is during elections and that the goal of elections is to elect the best candidate available. They cannot accept any critique that doesn't stand on this notion. They don't accept politics outside the right wing candidate (who say slurs and announce their racist policies in the name of "security") or the left wing candidate (who doesn't say slurs and announce their racist policies in the name of "justice"). They cannot comprehend that their differences are mostly semantics, and they both serve the same interests, those of the national bourgeoisie of the country you're in. I'm obviously referring to the Yankeelection so when communists critic Kamala Harris they are not trying to "push her to the left" or "hold her accountable". They are saying that Harris is not that softer a side of the same coin from her republican ideological cousins. And the changes needed to make a real difference will not come by the electoral process (even less so the *American* electoral process). So vote, don't vote that really doesn't matter you might feel better but it doesn't really matter the result. Life under capitalism and US imperialism will go on regardless of if the candidate say slurs. American cops will kill with impunity, immigrants will be persecuted, the us army will render itself an accessory in destabilization, war and genocide. Just fucking spare us the lecture.
#us elections#liberals really are tiring i swear#the “if you don't vote for kamala or local equivalent you're supporting fascism”#that whole song and dance is a drag. if i have to see another yankee's opinion on politics i'll end up in the news i swear

lil con haul!! (ノ^ヮ^)ノ*:・゚✧
by far my favourite piece of merch from this weekend (and my favourite photo from the con HAHAHA) (∗˃̶ ᵕ ˂̶∗) i actually hadn’t even realized there was a dabi cosplayer in front of me at first—i had only spotted the plushie, and i was so over the moon about it that it took me a while to notice he was technically, kind of, standing right in front of me (my boyfriend was like ‘i can’t believe i spotted them before you did!’ because i usually spot dabi cosplayers very quickly) >.<
and then i got these!!! and a ton of chocolate and this japanese candy that i thought was gum but was, in fact, definitely not gum (still good tho!)
anyway we had such a blast and i am sad that it’s over but happy with my lil goodies here c:
#i have a gorgeous childe ita bag and my mom was like ‘i’ll get you these as a gift’ so!!!!#he is dragging me back slowly tho >.<#either way they’re beautiful pins and i got to support small local artists so it’s a win :3#so so SOOOO happy with the dabi stuff!!!!#found literally *nothing* for him in artists alley tho :(((#which is okai#i was just surprised by the lack of bnha fan merch in general tho!!!#ALSO ALSO ALSOOOOOOOO i saw SOOOO many hazbin & helluva boss cosplays and they all looked absolutely incredible#it was such a treat to see them!!!#i hope everyone is having a good sunday <3#my body is KILLING ME so i need to like#sleep for a day now LMAO#clari chatters

so glad my hair is cut super short again I can finally wear all my dangly earrings properly. like I could've worn them while my hair was getting long (read: barely touching my shoulders) but I want to wear earrings the way a man with earrings wears earrings. except I'm not a man. but I'm definitely not a woman with earrings. you understand me right? anyway glad to look like a dyke again
#i went to a proper salon for the first time in a long time#it's a local queer-owned place that I never considered bc it seemed more geared towards esthetics#and if someone tells me I need to do anything to my eyebrows I will growl like an animal on reflex#didn't seem like the place to go for low-maintenance bitches like me and more like the place to go before drag night#but honestly ? great place#they had a form you filled out when you booked asking about pronouns and accessibility needs/supports it was really nice#would spend more money again not to have someone ask me if I'm sure 20 times before not even giving me the haircut I want in the end lol#person doing my hair understood the assignment !!!#the assignment was to make people hesitate before calling me sir or ma'am#probably still call me ma'am due to my voice and honkers but oh well the gender euphoria lies in the hesitation#reilly.txt

A queer newsletter from my hometown is posting about the lack of lesbian bars in this major city. But they're acting like this is a long-standing issue when it isn't. There was a lesbian bar in town. For many years, it opened sometime in the 80s. Then, around 2015/2016 trans rights became the hot button issue, and that bar took approximately 5 minutes to become a terf bar and start isolating itself from the rest of the local queer community. The petty infighting between regulars led to a gradual loss of business before the bar ultimately shut down in 2019. (Then relocated and reopened in 2021 as a straight bar).
It's great if they want to open a new lesbian/ women's bar, or otherwise create that space. But they've got to deal with this problem first.
#this is the bar my mom worked at where her group of friends#who were all regulars#had a running bet on which one of them would be the first to 'have' me#and how many of them it would take to 'fix' and 'make a good lesbian' of me#i was 17#the youngest of them was 39#most of them were in their 50s#they stopped hosting drag shows because too mamy regulars complained about 'celebrating men pretending to be women'#which is funny to me because i know one of the queens who performed regularly there and they at the time#considered themself a cis woman#they've since come out as a nonbinary woman#but the fact that these people just decided that a black person in drag must be a trans woman and therefore 'a man dressed as woman'#is pretty telling#after that the dart team hosted at that bar fell apart#because they refused to compete against any team that had trans people#or against any team hosted at a trans friendly bar#mind you this was not a gender specific league#they'd play against cis men but not trans people of any kind#then they pulled their support of the local lgbt youth center#because they were too trans friendly#and thag was pretty much the last straw for that bar#because that center is a long standing central pillar of the local community#so#op
